    VCU Rams Did It

Well, the Rams did it. They beat Kansas to make it to the final 4. Next up is Butler. IF Kentucky holds on to beat UNC, it will ba an "all animal" (Rams, Bulldogs, Huskies and Wildcats) final 4

Indeed we did. There were times this year that I doubted this team but not any more!

The UK v OSU game was seriously the most exciting game I can remember seeing. I knew then my Heels were in trouble. Kentucky played well this afternoon and totally deserve their trip to the Final Four.

As an interesting aside, the University of Maryland won the national championship while my wife was getting her masters there. She's been working on her PhD at UK for several years, but she's about to defend her dissertation, so this is UK's last chance to win while she's here. I think the karma may be in their favor.

I'm not a graduate, Ern, but I did take some classes at VCU back before I went into the Navy. Of course, it was called RPI way back then.

I think it really goes down to State pride. If it had been my other alma mater's nemesis; VA TECH, I would still be pleased with the win.

My alma mater, George Mason, was knocked out in an earlier round but I did my first year and a half at VCU. GO RAMS!
