Opinion on Sport Kilt?
Just wondering what everyone's opinion on the company was I'm looking to get one, they're cheaper but yet they still look nice.

Cheaper yet overpriced for what they are. I bought a Camo cargo kilt...cost me about $180 with the options. I'd have been better off to have gone with Freedom Kilts. I no longer have the kilt as it didn't fit very well. If you are looking for something tartan, I'd highly recommend USA Kilts instead!

I think SKs are great for sports and so forth, but I honestly don't think they look that great in other places.
I own two SKs, they were the first two kilts I ever owned, long ago relegated to 'house kilts' that I never wear outside.
When I got them I didn't have a lot of info about the options out there, and was thinking along the "cheaper still look nice" thing at the time too. But if I had to do it over again I would have opted for a Stillwater Economy or Thrifty, or a USA Kilts Casual.

IMO, you're better off going for a SWK heavyweight or USAKilt casual/ semi-casual. Those options cost a tiny bit more than a Sport Kilt but they are much, much sharper !

I have one and call it my "pleated sweat pants." Comfy, and okay for hanging out in the yard, or for what they were designed for which is athletics. I'm beginning to question how many competitors at the Games actually wear them though. I never see SK's.
Truth be told, I haven't worn mine in a couple of months, and haven't worn it outside my yard in over a year. I wear my USAK's, SWK's, and X-Kilts about four days a week right now, and nearly daily in the summer.
When you take the cost of a few more-or-less essential options, such as having the fell stitched down so you don't look like a cheerleader, you're really only a few bucks away from a USAK casual which is made of better materials, with finer craftsmanship, has superior pleating(and more pleats) and was made to fit your backside. I'd just spend the extra $20 and have something custom made.
And a Sportkilt is not suited to wearing in anything but very casual environments. Even if that's all you plan to use it for you'll really "feel" the difference if someone is standing next to you in a USAK or SWK, even if you're both in boots and t-shirts. It's like wearing a Target or WalMart suit and some guy stands next to you in an Armani. After that you realize it looks like a WalMart suit.
Just my $.02USD.

My first kilt was a Sport Kilt. My mom brought a Heritage of Scotland MacDonald back from Edinburgh and there was no comparison. I have worn the Sport Kilt maybe twice in four years. I would purchase from USA Kilts, Stillwater, or even Heritage of Scotland or the Scotland Kilt company.

I have one SK and while I do like it and wear it fairly often it has become my "I don't care if something happens to it" kilt. I have 2 Stillwaters & a Frugal Corner that IMHO are a much better kilt for less money. The biggest issue I have with the SK is the elastic in the waistband. I'm sure this is more for the athletics crowd, but it bugs me.

I got a Sportkilt as something to use for casual so I don't "wear-out" my nice wool premium 8 yarder...The first time I wore it (bear in mind, I already had my "tank") I felt like I wasn't wearing anything at all. Far too light and I had no confidence that it wouldn't just blow around exposing me. In fact, I went back home and changed back to my wool kilt before getting "out on the town".
As a point of comparison, I lucked into a USAK Casual as well...actually cost the same (after I added a couple needed options to the SK). The lightweight PV of the USAK Casual FEELS so much better and it's just as durable--if not more so--than the SK. Looks better too (just ask my wife).
If you plan to wear it exclusively at athletic events...then fine. I know several people that LOVE their Sportkilts and wear them all the time. It's just far to light weight for my preference and I would not be comforatable wearing out for anything other athletics.
Final thought. Hind-sight being 20-20 and all: if I had know then what I know now, I would have not ordered the SK and just gone straight for the USAK Casual.
Just my 2 cents...
Edit to add last minute thought: In fairness, Sportkilt sent me EXACTLY what I ordered and in a very short time period. Any disappointment I have is not thier fault, instead a reflection of my not understanding the weight of various materials. If nothing else, it helped me to understand my personal preference for heavier weight materials.
