Philadelphia Shamrocks Hurling Club
For anyone in the Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware and surrounding area;
Hurling is an Irish stick and ball game dating back 3,000 years. It takes the skills of lacrosse, baseball, soccer and hockey and combines them into an exciting game.
We are currently in a rebuilding and are looking for new, able-bodied players. Our coaches will teach you all you need to know from the basics to more advanced play.
The only equipment you need are a pair of cleats and a helmet with a full face shield (lacrosse, street hockey, ice hockey, hurling) we can provide you with a hurl (the stick).
PM me if you are interested or want to check it out. I'll give you all the information you need.
We train at:
Torresdale Boys Club;
4500 Linden Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19114
Monday, Wednesday 8pm
Check out the You Tube video for a better idea and what the game looks like.
Thanks,
Ryan
