I have to work that weekend, but if you folks want to come down for sock summit, your room is ready. We are only about 15 minutes away by car, or you can actually just drive two miles, then take the transit train right to it.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

"Greatest (and only) sock knitting show on earth..." Bah! We had one in Finland last year, plus a truck (SukkaRekka, "SockTruck" - if you click the link, there are some pics in addition to the Finnish text) touring the country, so people who couldn't attend the summit could knit and have coffee (or do any knitting-associated things) for a day at their own city.

Maksim

I LOVE the idea of a traveling "SukkaRekka"!! That would be fabulous. But in the U.S., they would look at the profitability of it, and stop in only the larger, metropolitan places, and I'd be left out
I'm lucky to have this SockSummit be only an hour's drive from me, and I actually remembered to register, this time!! I'm registered for the three classes at this point.
I know how to argyle - it's easy, but I'm interested in what she has to say. And while I've knit three pair of Kilt hose, to date, I'm interested in what that teacher has to say, as well, so I can get the fit right, EVERYTIME.
And as for the Austrian Traveling class? That's the one I am REALLY curious about...
