Kilts at Dayton Hamvention

The Dayton Hamvention was last weekend. This is a convention of Amateur Radio Operators held in Dayton, Ohio. This was my 41st year to attend. Occasionally there are a few that attend in a kilt. This year there were only two of us: myself and KC8UFV. KC8UFV is a member of this forum. Someone puts together a video that consist of a collection of still shots. Turns out KC8UFV made it into the video. The picture goes by quickly but you will find him at the 2:39 minute mark in the video.

I (obviously) had no idea my picture was taken at that point. Based on some conversations there, I wouldn't be surprised to find a few more people in kilts next year. One guy I happened to talk to said he thought it was a great idea, he's a drummer in a pipe band just north of Detroit (Cabar Feidh?). Happened to chat with him at the L'anse Cruz ARC booth in the flea market. Didn't happen to catch his name.

I had similar comments last year so I expected to see a couple more kilts this year. Guess not.
