Seen in the wild: Southern NJ
Returning from a weekend of race cars and an airshow today, my wife and I pulled into a large chain fuel-sandwich shop+everything you need store in southern New Jersey about 4pm.
Sitting in the van waiting for her return from the store, I looked across the large parking lot and noticed a smart middle-aged woman in a kilt skirt walking from her car. She was followed shortly by her male companion--husband? brother? date?--also kilted in a matching tartan.
At a distance, both kilts looked predominantly blue with some green. Their dress was best termed smartly done rather than formal or semiformal. I believe he had an open-neck white dress shirt on plus hose, flashes, sporran, etc.
If it was anyone on the list, sound off: we saw ya, and you looked good!
(Wife returned and we rolled on home before the couple returned from the store. My wife said she came out the opposite door and never noticed them.)
Kilts are everywhere!

Memorial Day (Decoration Day)
Didn't see your kilties Jim, but a kilted piper was seen playing at Independence Mall, Philadelphia around 2PM.
We put pink peonies from our garden at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the War of Indepence in Washington Park where it reads, "Freedom is a light for which many men have died in darkness"
