San Diego Highland Games, Vista

Ok, I going to be looking for X-Marker's at the Vista Games coming up June 25th and 26th. I'll be volunteering at the Clan Campbell Tent and possibly helping the Games organizers and some friends running a consession stand.

So I'm hoping to meet up with any of you who might be coming. I have a feeling Calico is going to be there, but I hope to meet up some of the others who lurk here.

Let me know if you plan on being there and let's get together and get some pics on the the forum!

I ordinarily go both days, whether or not I'm competing with a pipe band.

But this year there's the biggest southwestern US "muster" (fife & drum band gathering) that Saturday and I have a church gig that Sunday so I might not be able to make it at all. Bummer.

Bob and I hope to be there, although our plans are dependent on my mother's health (a day-to-day issue). If we are there, we'll be based at the Donnachaidh tent.

Typically we have a Saturday night XMarks (and others) dinner and have been going to Hennessey's on Main St. However the reviews and our experiences have been going downhill for this location so maybe we need to look for another dinner spot?

I won't be able to go to Hennessey's for dinner. I have to make a showing at home instead.

I'll be seeing some of you tomorrow I hope. I'm going to be lookig for sydnie7,AcuteEnigma and Calico too!. I'll be at the Clan Campbell tent for a while and then wandering and volunteering later in the day.
