Jealous of my kid
I find myself being extremely envious of my oldest daughter. Her dream has always been to study archaeology in Scotland (especially since she learned of our direct ties to Clan MacKay. She has just finished her Associates degree in History at a local college, and has been accepted at the University of Aberdeen to study archaeology in the fall. I'm very proud of her, but jealous nonetheless.
I guess I'll just have to be content with the Sept trip over and subsequent visits. We've visited Scotland several times in the past, but to study there at a very old and celebrated university...it brings a tear to 'me eye.

That's great! Now, you will just have to go visit often to make sure she is keeping up with her studies

Make metahorical lemonade, save your coins for a trip to visit. Daughter was studying in Berlin, earlier. Joined her in March when classes ended and we did a lovely trip through Germany and Czech Rep.
