We finally received all the photos from our June 18th wedding and, just to prove that it did happen, had to post some here. Sorry for how many there are--it was difficult to choose from over 400 shots!
A note on the buckle shoes I am wearing; I know from reading one of the exhaustive footwear debates that has taken place here that they are not appropriate for a white-tie event. Thankfully, our wedding's dress code demanded that our guests and participants simply wear whatever they wish. An usher in bluejeans and boots, several guests in Hawaiian print shirts--you get the idea. The strap and buckle shoes that are traditionally appropriate for formal occasions are just too dandy for my tastes. Same thing with lace cuffs and jabot with a Sherrifmuir. Not me at all.
I hope the joy of our day is conveyed through these images!
A perfect example of why I live in Colorado. And why I wear the kilt!
Groomsmen: My brother, father-in-law, son and dear chum. The older (and wiser) gent has worn the kilt for 15 years...the man responsible for my new addiction!
My little best man. He had a death-grip on those rings!
Sealed it!
First dance with my incredible young lady.
Introducing...Mr. and Mrs. Williams!
What do you do when asked "the question" but have forgotten the answer?
Hopefully, not this.
A quiet moment away from the malt-fueled madness.
I'm done. Thanks for indulging me, and thanks for all the advice while I was outfitting!
