World Pipe Band Championships

Glasgow 13th August 2011.
I'm intending to be there as my clan's official pipe band, Colum Cille, from Cape Cod Massachussetts will be competing in grade 4B, their first ever appearance in the Worlds. They are scheduled to play at 10:00am.
Anyone else going this year?

Wish I could join you there Alex. My pipe band's pipe instructor and drum instructor are members of NY Metro Pipes and Drums. This is only their second year of competition and their first at the worlds. They'll be competing in grade 3. Hope you get a chance to see them compete. Enjoy!

I'll be there with Shotts and Dykehead. Having to Qualify this year, due to a major re shuffle in the Pipe Corps, so will play (initially hopefully) at 10.30.

Hang about at the G1 circle and give me a shout when we come off?

At present trying to wriggle out of my nephews 4th birthday party on Saturday afternoon, love to be at his party but the Worlds at Glasgow Green on a fine day is a sight to behold. Might be at Red Hot Chilli Pipers concert on Friday at old Fruitmarket in Merchant City
