What kind of sporran do you have?
The kilt doesn't look right to my eye, I can't place it but somethings not sitting right.
Also with the PC jacket you really want to be wearing a bow tie the regular tie just doesn't look right.
If a bow tie is too formal then the PC defiantly is the wrong jacket to wear.

I would go with Option 3. A coat and tie is never too much for a wedding, unless ultra informal dress has been widely advised. You can always remove the coat and the tie if you feel over dressed.

the pics are a bit fuzzy but the kilt is a stillwater nightstalker, it is a tad long for me, but havent had a chance to get it hemmed yet. other than that its normal. I would wear a bow tie but dont have one yet, still looking. i know the neck tie isnt quite kosher but its all i got.

If you don't have a bow tie then a PC just doesn't look right. My advice would be shirt and tie with a nice leather sporran (SWK Leather cargo minimum) not the full dress at home if it's informal. If you can't do that then my advice would have to be a suit!
P.S. How long is too long for you kilt? If it's way past your knees the hose won't look right
P.P.S. I have a SWK heavyweight and I wouldn't wear it to a wedding because while it is good for the cash compared to a proper kilt well there's no competition

I like option 3 best because you can always downgrade by taking something off, but I agree that you should grab a bow tie on your way over.

What about the left buckle? Is it buckled too tightly? It looks like the pleats behind the apron are disturbed.

My favorite is option 2
And as far as the fit goes, it looks as though it may be to big in the waist? And a bit too long? Pictures tend to emphasize things however.
When all is said and done, good luck!

I have a black leather sporran. the kilt isnt too long, its just a bit further passed the center of my knee than it should be.
the buckles are not any tighter than the stock holes on the straps.
i would pick up a bow tie if i had any idea of where to get one??

Remember, it's not your fault you were given such short notice! I dig number 2, like stated above.
Maybe the waist coat, different jacket, and no tie?..
