    Help to identify this tartan

    I was looking through Flickr for Cairngorm skiing and came across this nice looking tartan.

    Could anyone identify it?

    Since it looks just like the kilt my wife bought me in Jan. 2010, I'd have to go out on a limb and say it's a Maclaine lochbuie tartan.

    The kilt pictured is definitely MacPherson weathered. If your Maclaine of Lochbuie kilt is of the same tartan, you need to go back and have a talk with your kiltmaker!

    I agree with Matt... Macpherson / Kidd, though I'd guess the mill as Marton Mills: http://www.usakilts.com/store/tartan...&gazimage=1536

    Based on his dress sporran, I'm guessing this was a formal event.
