Re: leather jacket
I can't say I was really thrilled with the jacket (just not my style) but I like the linen waistcoats that you can have custom made. It is hard for me to find nice vests and waistcoats.
Has anyone dealt with this vendor?

Re: leather jacket
It looks like a girl's jacket to me.

Re: leather jacket
I'm in agreement with DK. I do like the Minority Report replica jacket. It's what you see if you click "next" on the page linked in the OP. The Indy jacket would be nice too, and might work alright for kilt wear. There were a few others that I like, but some that I'm not sure would look "right" on me--the Wolverine jacket for one. Maybe if I had claws...
At the prices listed I'd be very interested to know more about this company!

Re: leather jacket
Gotta agree with the other guys. This jacket really isn't blowing my skirt up. I'm not sure what part about it is exactly "military style", but I personally can't come up with a single reason that I would ever wear it. I think it is the combination of the cut, the double row of buttons, and the zippers.
No sir... I don't like it. (any R&S fans out there??) LOL
But that's just me. If it is YOUR style, go for it and enjoy it. Remember, fashion goes in and out of style, but style never goes out of fashion.
You are asking a bunch of folks who go against the grain and proudly wear kilts in the world without a care about what the world thinks of it. Do the same.

Re: leather jacket
The double buttons sort of remind me of some of the military doublets. As both sides can be buttoned back allowing the jacket to be worn open.
The vendor is in India.

Re: leather jacket
I really thought this was a lady's jacket until I saw the pictures at the bottom of the page.

Re: leather jacket
Not my cup of tea, but it might look pretty edgy on the right young lad....

Re: leather jacket
I'm in agreement with the others, it's simply not my style. It might look good though on someone quite young with a very slim figure (not your average podgy grandpa like me)

All I get when I click the link is a 404 error page.

Mr. Horse? Is that you?
That's actually one of my favorite lines. I use it all the time.
