New Sport Kilt Specialty Fabric – Solid Olive Drab

Sport Kilt’s new olive drab fabric is as described: ”A poly blend material that has more swing and drape than poly-cotton twill…”
Very light weight, just a little heavier than their Hiking Kilt material.
Will likely whip around in wind.
No initial fuzziness, pilling future not yet known.
Comfortable active outdoors down to about 50F.
Very comfortable indoors, likely for three seasons – hot & humid summer test will have to wait.

I have had one of their old olive drab models for years, somewhere on XMTS there is an old thread of mine titled something like "In praise of Sport Kilt"




They aren't a traditional kilt to be sure, but in the hot weather during summer my Sport Kilt gets a huge amount of use. The olive drab color goes great with virtually all my Hawaiian shirts (worn tucked in) for a nice and comforatble tropical look around the house.
