See you at the 2012 Central Florida Highland Games, which will be held in the Central Winds Park, which is located in the beautiful city of Winter Springs, Florida.

The MacLarens will be honored clan this year (HURRAH!!!!).
Chief Donald MacLaren will come from Balquhidder for the games. I urge all Woodbadgers and scouters to come in uniform to participate in the opening procession.

I hope all you guys have a great time. My son (who pipes for Uncle Hamish and the Hooligans) and the rest of his band mates left early this morning to make the drive to Florida.

I attended this with my friend and wife. This was my first highland games.

I signed up to be a member of Clan Kerr, and shared some whiskey with the guy at the booth.

I wasn't very formal with my kilt wearing. I wore my Ultimate Sportkilt in Hunter tartan, with a t-shirt, leather jacked, and flip flops (i know it was cold but this is Florida dammit!)

Picked up a Kerr kilt pin while i was there, as well as a tweed hat to boot.

Lots of beer, haggis, scotch eggs! It was a blast and i cant wait for next year. I might have to enter the highland games
