All Ireland Blue Group Buy
Greetings all. My best friend wants some All Ireland Blue tartan but it turns out that it is not stock woven any longer. A single run is to cost prohibitive so I'm putting it out there to see if anyone else is interested in some of this beautiful tartan as well and we can make it happen if there is enough interest. Reply here or shoot me a PM if you want in.

So ummm, what's it look like? A new one for me...

Dalgliesh lists it as stock supported in their heavy weight.

Lochcarron, I thought, stock supported it in their 10 oz Reiver range.
Are you saying neither of these mills is stock supporting it any longer?

Beauty, they say, is in the eye of the beholder, but I don't find it particularly attractive. The bright green and the mid blue together, just don't work for me.

Here's a scan of the actual Dalgliesh fabric:

Dalgleish says they no longer stock it so it'll have to be a special order. I've emailed Lochcarron to see if they happen to weave it in Strome weight without listing it online, but I'm not holding out much hope there.

Gotcha, so, Lochcarron still does stock it in 10 oz, I take it? But you are looking for 16 oz heavy weight.
In that case, Dalgliesh is going to be your best bet. They will be able to produce a much smaller run for you than Lochcarron.
Are you trying to put together a group order just to help reduce the cost? Because Dalgliesh will be happy to weave a single kilt length for you.
