    ReNew Utilikilt Arrived

My first Utilikilt arrived this afternoon. I was lucky enough to buy it from Shane. Of course I had to try it on immediately.

    Workman's Utilikilt

I like it already. Its obviously not like my more traditional kilts, but it will be great for what I bought it for, a more casual look.

I'm still not sure about them... I think they look ok, but not sure I'd wear one... Maybe a little too "fashion forward" for me?

You would probably happier with a Freedom Kilt. Theyre pleated more like traditional kilts.
I know if I had the money I would have a few Freedom Kilts in various styles n colors. Regardless of the maker of kilt, its still better than bein in pants.

Sanx Muddy. Itll never replace my more traditional kilts, but I like it for the more casual look.

In a slighty different topic, I posted the pic under the title "Utilikilt" to my Facebook. A lady I use to work with posted, "What is it?". My response was "A statement against bifurcated garments.". I wonder if shes any smarter now?

I suspect it's one of those things you need to try... Kind of like the black watch sports jacket I just picked up to replace my harris tweed...
