Very nice! I love the idea of fly tying as therapy. I'll have to look into that program as Father's day is coming up and I need a gift for Da!
Enjoy your new rod and gear,

Nice B-day presents! Not being a fly fisherman, I don't have first-hand appreciation for your gifts, but they look like they will get the job done. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment using them.

For trout (rainbow, cutthroat, and "cutbows") in the NM mountains I use a spinning reel and grasshoppers . I imagine those WWP flies will look might tasty to a fish. Love what the WWP is doing for our wounded warriors.

I have a good friend, a Lt. Col. in the Army at White Sands, whose next tour of duty is at the Aberdeen Proving Ground. He is scheduled to transfer in the August/September time frame.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

    Great birthday gift. Beautiful setup.

Your post, an article in today's paper, and a fly rod case falling on my head yesterday while I was searching forr something in my basement-------not a coincidence but signs, signs that it is time to wag the stick a little myself when off on vacation next week. Got the right hand itch.

Temple Forks are great rods--I used one a couple years ago in Canada. Hope you get the line wet soon...

I like the TFO rods, I've been contemplating a small stream rod. The wounded warrior program is fantastic... That's a double plus... new flies and helping vets.
