Cool Now it begins...placed an order!

After reading, thinking, mailing with companies and the only kiltmaker I know in Germany I finally placed an order:

5 yard "Smith ancient" Jura by Martin Mills pleated to red stripe (if possible)

Hope Tartanweb will do a nice Job. Price with shipping about € 200,-.

I would like to wear it at Rüsselsheim Highland Games 1./2. September.

Now I am going to order a lovat green Hector Russell day jacket.

    :-)

    Hi all!

    It arrived!

Today I received my new Smith ancient 5 yard kilt by Tartanweb.
Fabric is 16 oz. Jura range by Marton Mills. I like the pale coulours.
    Nice, but....

The pleats have different depths and the pattern isn't really repeated.
Is that usual with 5 yarders? Maybe because of the tartans dimensions!

What do you think about it?
