McLain Celtic Festival - Carlisle, PA September 1, 2012

Is anyone going to attend the 18th annual McLain Celtic Festival in Carlisle, PA September 1?

This is a small festival but a lot of fun.

The Two Mile House is also the home of the annual McLain Celtic Festival which has been held on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend from 9am to 5pm for the past 17 years. The Festival is a family-oriented event featuring Highland Athletics, Border Collie demonstrations, Scottish Clans, vendors with Celtic goods, and lots of musical entertainment including Celtic folk singers, bands, dancers and international performers.

    Greetings!
Yes, I plan to be there and will be doing some Dark Age Blacksmithing throughout the day. There will most like be other folks with me as well showing off various tradeskills, etc. If you make it out, stop by and say hello!

If you see an old, fat guy with a grey beard in a P/V box pleated kilt in Cunningham tartan drooling over your work it will be me. I'll say hi.

The McLain Celtic Fair was held today. I met EgganDubh working his forge.

I'll post additional picture over the next few days.
