    Kilt Related License Plates

    Hey Guys and gals,

I haven't seen anyone post this topic for quite a while now (though I may have missed it). Who has a kilt related license plate? Kelly has "USAKILT" on her plate (no pic... sorry) and I just got mine in:

Anyone else have one they want to share?

Colorado has recently approved a new vanity license plate that will be replacing mine next time they're due.

Notice the "sky" background. It is the Colorado Tartan.

Now that is a friendly licence . You thought a kilt sometimes gets uninvited attention... you would want to be careful if you actually had that plate number.

Rocky, you and I have similar ideas. Mine reads KILTMAKR and has done for a few years now. Before that I had a tag that said ALBANACH.

Nice one, Rocky – but I’m afraid Greg has the edge there, with tartan on his plate!
In my province (and in a few others) we are compelled to use plates with rather tacky artwork, and tartan would be greatly preferable, especially if the tartan were locally relevant.
I have designed tartans for all but one of South Africa’s provinces, but they are all still unofficial. It seems I have some work to do!
    Regards,
    Mike

We are limited to 7 letters total with allowance for 1 space. we CAN'T use that space for another letter or I would have done "Kiltmakr" too as that was my first choice.

    Great minds and all that.

By chance and only by chance when I got my plates the last three letters were KWP. Someone asked me what it meant, and I said Kilted With Pride!

My plate was inspired by a server at a restaurant I frequent. She has since moved on but is now one of my Facebook friends.
