Aye, one of my favorite tunes, Rex!
I remember fondly Peter Mcleod of Lewis singing it as we rowed along the Kintyre in 2003.

Loved the way they appeared out of the darkness at the back of the stage. Impressive!

Thank you. That's one of my favorite songs. Despite McCartney's fading voice, it brought tears to my fading eyes. The pipes and drums were/are the best part.
What a way to capture an impression of Scottish legend and mythology in music and lyrics. I remember listening, over and over, to "I Want to Hold Your Hand", when it was first released in the U.S.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I heard that the members of the band had to keep the secret (even from their families) for two weeks. One member's son in the audience was totally surprised by the band's appearance. Thanks for posting the video, Rex.

That was the case, David. Another band member was walking his dog in a field behind his home (fully kitted but for the feather-bit) and was asked by a neighbour where he was playing that night. The answer, given with a smile, was "watch the late evening news".

thanks rex, enjoyed that one (plus a bunch of the other ones, too), though it was a wee bit hard to hear the pipes
