British Rebel Tan in the Southern Utah Mountains

Drove up to Cedar City, Utah for a long weekend visiting a friend. Wore my British Rebel Tan cargo driving both ways. Love driving in my leather cargos! No pics on the way over. On the way back over the mountains from Cedar City to Long Valley Junction, stopped at a scenic viewpoint along Highway 14 a bit south of Duck Creek Village. Was cold out - 21 degrees F at about 9,000 feet. Driving over saw a bald eagle near Long Valley Junction. Flew right at the car...great head on view. No mistaking that bird. A most spiritual event.

Not a problem in warm weather. Have worn my RKilts at 110F with comfort. Like the leather on a baseball glove the kilt leather seems to soften in warm weather. Of course the kilt is also air conditioned. For sure on the bald eagle. Just saw pics of one right outside of town in Glen Canyon.

One of the reasons I bought my place was because of the resident turkey vultures plus it was a flight way for hawks & eagles. I knew people would be looking over me!
