    Tartan ID help

    Anybody know what this is?



    The red is actually a bit more "red" and less "orange" in person, than the photo indicates. This is the tartan I got to make Duncan Lawrence's kilt out of.

    If what appears to be black in the photo were in fact blue, I would say it is the Chisholm tartan. Not the one normally sold under that name today, mind you, but the older one which resembles a MacIntosh tartan, recorded here:

    Quite right Matt. The black may actually be dark blue which was the original Wilsons' shade (below) rather than the light blue shown in the STR link.
