    Wink From Pants to Kilts: A Pocketless Problem



    I'm sure we've all had this problem as kilt newbies going from pocketed pants to pocketless kilts....

    No, not really. I was never one to stand around with my hands in my pockets, not a great look.

    Yeah, I still struggle with that. I hook my thumbs at the waist or hold them in front, reverse parade rest.
    Somebody ought to.

    The military tends to break many people of it by using positions known as attention (hands at sides) and at ease (hands clasped behind the back). Have a friend start getting your attention to how often you place your hands in pockets. During the first week, every time that you place hands in pockets, you do 10 pushups or situps. During the second week, you do 20. Third week equals 40, fourth week equals 80. Most people don't put their hands in pockets on the fifth and following weeks.
    I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.
