    Remembering Fathers' Day

I received a photo on my cell phone this morning, from my aunt, Dorothy, as she stopped by the family gravesite.

My great grandfather George, his wife (my great grandmother) Annabella, and their son (my grandfather) Arthur Sangster Cormack Sr., were all born in Scotland. Arthur married my grandmother, Florence, a woman of Welsh decent, and they had two children - my father Arthur Sangster Cormack Jr., and my Aunt Dorothy (Kressler.)

The photo has nothing to do with kilts, and didn't seem significant or of broad enough historical interest to place in the History and Heritage sub-forum, but being Father's Day, as my family is of Scottish roots, I thought I would share the photo as I reflect on my father, grandfather, and great grandfather. I visit the grave each year, as well as the site where my mother's ashes were scattered, each autumn when I return to New England in October.

To all the dad's out there among The Rabble, happy Fathers' Day.
