In remission
I wasn't quite sure where to post this, so mods move it if necessary. It has been a while since I posted anything, so I thought I would update my health status. My cancer seems to be in full remission now, and I am no longer taking chemo, although I do have to take a hormone pill daily. I've gained back some of the 45 pounds I lost and can now actually wear my USA semi traditional. So far, this year I've once again been able to play golf weekly, although I do have a shortness of breath problem which limits how far I can walk. I've also lost quite a bit of distance with all of my clubs. But,at least I can be out there enjoying the game.
I plan on attending the Va Scottish games at the end of August and I hope to see some of you there

Great news Jerry. I hope this remission becomes/is permanent. Welcome back to everything. BTW I had to give up golf when I discovered that every club I bought produced a distinctive hook in my swing A nice stroll on the links is enjoyable in any case.

Very good news, Jerry. Thanks for sharing wih us.
You have the right attitude: playing golf well was never really an option. Just playing the best ou can is enough.
Golf is a holy thing, after all.
