    A different look at Pleasanton

    I figured others with better cameras than mine would post some pics of the games and so I figured to post some pics of the area itself to let some people see the layout of the area. And so, here goes;

    Looking at all the people in these pics I find it amazing that with the exception of the one pic of the band area there is not a kilt in any of them. And yet there were hundreds of men in kilts all weekend.

    Wish I was there! We traditionally head to Tahoe for Labor Day weekend and was hoping we'd cancel this year because of the heavy smoke...but no, I was overruled! While Saturday was lovely at the lake, the wind shifted and Sunday and Monday were very smoky.

    Next year I've already told the family: PLEASANTON!

    Thanks for the pictures Phil.

    Wish I could have joined you there. My Clan society had their tri-ennial gathering at Pleasanton this year, and I've been hearing all about it over on Facebook. I'm hoping they will come to Scotland for the next one.
