The Louisville Pipe Band is planning to be there.
I may go along - depends on how work goes next week. I've had three nights out of four this week go past 3 AM (I start at 5 PM). We'll see what tonight brings. At least I get paid overtime...

This looks like fun! I've never been to a Highland Games before. And it looks to be about 2 hours and 45 minutes from Evansville. I might try to make a day trip on Saturday the 14th.

John , hope to see you there . We met briefly last year at the Clan MacTavish tent , you had worked all night and still managed to pipe on Saturday . Whew ! That must have been a challenge !

MarkEvv , come join us if you can ! There are quite a few XMarkers that attend . If you spot someone wearing the XMarks yellow dandelion , come and say hello . Not all XMarks members wear the dandelion , so if you come , strike up some conversation while there , it's surprising where that leads . Welcome and enjoy if you can make it .
Cheers , Mike

I'm planning to be there. Our clan AGM is Saturday evening before the ceilidh. I'll likely be hanging around the Clan MacTavish tent.

I remember meeting up briefly last year. One of the kind gentlemen I met gave me an artificial dandelion for future X-Markers meet-ups. As I recall, I managed about 4 hours sleep before going to Columbus last year. Still, it is a challenge to remember the tunes when you're sleep deprived. I've had a couple of recent performances that I'd had only 4 and 2 hours sleep before having to get up & dressed, etc.
Last year, the account I'm working in was fully-staffed. This year, we're currently down 4 people, but hope to get them replaced this coming week. That doesn't mean they'll be 100% effective, though - they'll still have to learn the procedures/products we pick & ship. That may mean getting out at 2 AM instead of 4, though. (Last night was another 3 AM clockout time, making a little over 41 hours of work in 4 days.)

I will be there too, and will be hanging out at the Clan MacTavish tent. We are honored that our Chief, Steven MacTavish of Dunardry will be in attendance as well.

I was in Columbus in August. We stay with relatives for the MotoGP at Indy. We also have relatives in Evansville and Carmel but NONE of them mentioned the games. I see some corrective action is required by next year ;)
