just found a place to buy more stuff locally

this place is new and takes over from the pickering flea market,now closed.
it's called pickering markets and is @ 1400 squires beach rd, corner of bayly. it's a stall there, lots of british stuff, irish too, shirts etc, good prices on some things too. they have a shop in London Ontario(British isles shoppe),good news for me is they will soon close the shop in London and open one in either pickering or ajax. I won't have as far to got for my stuff.bad news for you lot in London tho.

Jeeepers, I didn't know they were closing the London store! I wore my kilt in there just before last Christmas & they loved it. Darn! Oh well, I get down that way 4 or 5 times a year. I'll check out the flea market next time I'm down that way as well. Thanx for the post.

I stopped in at the London store tonight after work to look for a birthday gift for my daughter. The clerk in the store seemed to think the store here was staying open. I hope she's right. But then, employees are usually the last to be told.
