OK! They were worth the very long wait.
Our dad and son kilts arrived Thursday. (Different tartans)
They were worth the wait.
Dad gained 10 pounds since the order was placed. It's a little snug but still comfortable. Pics to follow.

I can't wait to see the picture of son chasing dad around so he can have the 10 pounds! LOL

In all fairness to Bear, I started inquiring in November, but didn't order until December. And did I mention that Bear Kilts are worth the wait? And Bear is as innovative and talented a kilt designer as the people at Utilikilts, if not more so. I can't believe how good this kilt looks for such a reasonable price.

Kilt'n'Khuk,
I have you in my database as paid on Novemer 30th.
Doesn't really matter. You waited too long in any case.
Thanks for the compliments.

Bear,
We appreciate your modesty.
But, damn you're good.
Keep up the good work. It's nice to know someone who doesn't think "customer service" are swear words.

Bear,
When I ordered my Maple Leaf from you I thought that it took a really long time, but with my woolen ones that I have ordered the wait was longer. I can only say waiting for mine to arrive from you was well worth the wait, and I can say truthfully that I have no complaints, just compliments!
So I say to those of you waiting, you will be happy.
(OK Bear the commercials over when do I get paid?) LOL

Okay... so what's the first thing that I do when I retire from kiltmaking?
Order another BearKilt!
I'll need to print-out some cards since I know that I'll be asked about it on-stage.

I measured the hem of my Grizzly Cut Bear Kilt last night. It was six yards not counting the double layer bits in the front. I got my money's worth out of that one. Unlike the "6 yard" from another maker that was not even 4 and a half yards. I never contacted the other maker on this issue because he has kind of dropped out of chatter on the kilt boards and I didn't want the hassle of packing it up and returning it.
