May 17 is...
On May 17, 1845 A patent for the rubber band was granted to Stephen Perry of London, England. (Perry owned the manufacturing company Messers Perry and Co.) a noted supplier of rubber bands to kiltmakers and wearers alike. Is this not reason enough to strap on that kilt and celebrate the day?!
(I know Bear is waiting for "Velcro" day, but he'll just have to wait.)

Good one, I'll wear a rubber band on my kilt pin to celebrate!

It's been a long day and I'm tired, but here goes anyway.
Shouldn't this be under the music category?

May 17th is also my wife and my 7th wedding anniversary. A nice evening out is planned...kilted, of course.

What about Syttende Mai? (Philbo, what the *#%&@ is Syttende Mai?) May 17th is Norwegian Independence Day, also called Syttende May. I'll be donning my Norwegian-colored kilt (fortunately, red, white and blue is easy to find in this country) and sharing some mead with my friends.

My feeling about May 17 is one full of meetings already been to one (it's about 9:00 am) have three more before I go to sleep, but I go for comfort and my kilts are what really get me through the day!
Another Skol!

I must say that evenings and weekends are always kilted. Now I just have to work on working in a kilt.

It's easy, put a kilt on, go to work, do your job, it makes it better because it annoys the hell out of my boss - and her boss
