Braveheart and the Pipes of Christmas

Yesterday, I braved it through the snowstorm and went to NYC where I had promised to usher for the annual Pipes of Christmas concert. The music was wonderful, the setting was spectacular and there was an extra bonus. One of the persons reading verse between the musical pieces was a young man who played the part of William Wallace as a boy in the movie, Braveheart, James Robinson.

After the show, he kindly let my friend take a photo of him (and me). He's a very, very nice person.

By chance, I was wearing the Wallace kilt i made recently. But I was so starstruck, I forgot to ask James what tartan he was wearing.

What a delightful picture of whom I suspect are both very, very nice persons. Merry Christmas!
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

It's me that's the lucky one. I loved that movie, and I never imagined in a million years that I'd have the chance to meet the young man who portrayed William Wallace as a boy.

By the way, Frank..... I brought your lovely Campbell Ancient tartan with me and worked on the pleat stitching at the church and on the train to and from the city. It's coming along.
