christmas anywhere?
If you could celebrate Christmas anywhere in the world, where would it be? My top 5 choices are Bethlehem, Rome, Prague, Salzburg and Moscow.

anywhere with my family, but possibly back in Sri Lanka - it's gotta be warmer and less windy than here!

I like to be home here in Hawick Scotland for Christmas.
I've sampled going away over Christmas, but Christmas at home can't be bettered.

I served for 12 years in the RAF. I was on duty for 9 Christmases. For the other 3, married servicemen took pity on me and invited me into their homes for Christmas Day. As nice as it was, it was their home - it was not mine.
Now that it is just the wife and I, we like to spend it together, in our own home.

My wish is to be where I could have a big slice of David's fruitcake! What time is tea, David?

If you leave right now, Ern, you could be here by midnight-thirty. I'll be waiting for you.

You have a little farther to travel than Ern, but sure, come on. Would you mind picking up some coffee on your way? I'm almost out.
