    Kilt in the old west

Spent the morning at the Sharlott Hall museum in Prescott.

This is an old photo of the "Horribles", Prescott's answer to Mardi Gras. The photo is from 1891.

Love that museum. Great find. Can't help but wonder where he scored the kilt and sash...maybe a Scotsman who brought them over with him.

Not just the kilt and sash but what looks to be a fine long-hair sporran peeking out from beneath the sash! And the mask (or what I hope is a mask LOL) on the fellow next to him -- fine old times they had!
