It looks kind of familiar, perhaps one of the Irish County tartans? It appears to be lighter than 16oz by the thickness of the waistband. Sorry, probably not much help.

It's not one of the Irish County per HoE. Can you post a better image so that we can see whether there are any guard stripes to the fine lines. It looks as though there may be black guards on the white? Also, is there a maker's label inside?

No idea of it's origins.

If the yellow stripes were red, it would look somewhat similar to MacRae.
It looks a bit like the Dyce tartan but it's not that either.
Sorry, don't know....but I do like it!

Found it - National Wedding - not the most inspiring name but the design itself is ok and clearly based on the Htg MacRae.
