    Any ideas on this one?

This is a kilt which belonged a friends grandmother, apparently it came from Scotland with her, but they have no idea about clan connections etc. Is this a fashion tartan (which it seems to me, although a lot of dancing tartans have a similar colour scheme), or can someone identify it as a clan tartan? It is a family heirloom, so I can only assume it has some importance, though I don't have any idea of its provenance. (as a caveat, the picture is showing a little pink on my monitor)

    Any advice would be appreciated!

    Cheers,

    Cameron
