Some tartans I've woven - where are they now

I recently found a load of pictures of tartans I've woven and thought I'd share some. I'd forgotten just how many and how much I'd woven over the years. Most are in Wilsons' shades and all kilts made by Bob Martin. I wonder where they are now? Hopefully still in use or passed on for others to enjoy.

    Hunting Ross

Gunn plus one of my own kilts, an early 18th century sett entirely in natuaral dyes

MacLeod - 5 yd box pleat kilt with herringbone selvedge

Glenorchy (variation) - silk in natural dyes worn by a model at a NY Fashion Show in the 1990's

Loads more like these if people are interested

Pictures of endless kilts will probably people turn off pretty quickly but I will dig out some of the more unusual and interesting projects.

A pair of match Drummonds - the ultimate his and hers

A stole in Wilsons' Priest tartan made for a clergyman in the US

The late Bill Johnson in his Lochwood Check. Wonder what happened to that? I reall like the whole outfit and it would fit me

    And some more....

Robertson with the white line in silk. This was a technique that Wilsons perfected where silk was used, mostly for white and yellow, in some of their tartans. Not something that a commercial weaver will do today because of the difference in the way silk and wool react during the finishing process.

MacNeil (Red line). An outfit made by Bob Martin (and others - the jacket?) for a museum in, I think N. Carolina.

Selvedge Pattern from a reconstruction of a plaid from Nova Scotia - discussed here. Note the traditional method of turning the ends and also the herringboning.
