Father knows best
Walking in downtown Victoria, British Columbia this afternoon in a Chatahoochee tartan kilt, a father with small son in tow passed my way. The father said to his son, "You know what they wear under their kilts, shoes and socks." At least one normal person already knows the right answer. I did find some frilly panties in a shop window that tempted me. A Chinese shop owner liked my skirt. I think it would be crazy cool to wear frilly panties under my skirt. It would give normal people something to talk about on a windy day, which it was in Victoria. Of course, the Lairds would have a fit, and soundly condemn anyone having a little fun in a skirt, it isn't the THCD of the uptight, but what the hell, you only go around once.

Whatever you choose to wear or not wear under your kilt should be up to you.

I saw the frilly red panties (in the shop window in Fan Tan Alley, not in situ!) and they were pretty fierce. Now, they weren't tartan tights, but not everybody can aspire to that level.

The Chatahoochee tartan is an interesting concept; wholly USA-American in origin, design, concept.
Bravo to those who initiated and designed the Chatahoochee tartan.
Good on you for wearing it.

Man, there's no need for sarcasm and mockery.
And, regardless of what you choose to wear under your kilt, no one needs to see it or hear about it. You don't need to have fun at other people's expense.

Not certain this is entirely the case.
In 1993, Scottish Border Enterprise (Goverment Enterprise Company) suggested celebrating the twinning of the Rivers Tweed and the Chattahoochee area in Georgia (USA) with having a tartan designed. This was undertaken by Leah Robertson of Lochcarron who are situated in Galashiels in the Borders. Swatch in Scottish Tartans Authority's Johnston Collection. It was apparently used for a pipe band made up mainly of policemen and firemen from Roswell, Georgia but as of 2006 it's not known if the band still exists.

I think on a windy day the up Draft has fun at the expense of the on looker..alpha male chatter aside a flash of color is always more pleasant than too pale flesh

Did you really think it was necessary to post this ? As for myself, I am not a Laird and I'm not " uptight " , however , this is a bit ridiculous .
