How much can a Argyle Jacket be adjusted?
I have an opportunity to purchase a used Argyle jacket at a pretty good price.
It is a 58 short and my chest measurement is 54.
Is 2-4 inches to much for the jacket to be adjusted?
I had read where it is suggested to add 1-2 inches to your chest size for off the shelf jackets. I wonder if this would get me into a range where a alteration is possible on this jacket.
I may want to add a waistcoat at a later date. if that matters.
Thanks.
