Upcoming Kelso Washington Highlander Festival 2014
The Kelso Washington Highlander Festival this year is coming up quickly.
The dates are September 13th and 14th 2014. I have been told that this is a wonderful smaller event and one should not miss it.
The site for further info and detailed schedule of events is:

One thing important to mention here is it is FREE for the public to attend.
So, what say you rabble.....who is going to Kelso on the 13th!?!

The MacKenzie tent will be there as well.
And as Hawk mentioned, it is FREE. It is a City of Kelso sponsored event. It is very relaxed and a lot of fun.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Being faced with three concurrent events on the 13th, we have tentatively decided to skip one, spend AM at one and the PM at the other. Do you think morning or afternoon would be the better time to attend the Kelso event?

It's pretty relaxed, and slow starting in the morning. Come at noon for the bands and the entertainment is in the afternoon. Be sure to stop by the MacKenzie tent and shout out.

Ah, here's a reminder you Pacific NW folks.....Kelso Highland Games is upon us this next weekend. I see we've got quite a few folks responded and will be there. The rest of you, take note and come down, up, sideways to an event who I hear is a good one to attend....

Just a couple of short days left and it appears that the weather is going to be excellent in Kelso for the festival. Look forward to seeing everyone there. There is a strong possibility that my son will also be joining me. We plan on arriving around 11am on Saturday. For those that have attended before, is that a good time to do so?

Well, I'll be arriving about 8 AM but I sorta gotta do that or else there will be no one at the Clan Young tent. Stop by!
