First Time at University Kilted

Well, looks like I've finally caught the bug for real. I'll be going to university tonight in my Black Watch SWK Heavyweight, along with bottle green hose, a simple black day sporran, mirror-polished plain toe bluchers (the mirror shine being a personal trademark of sorts), a double-breasted grey herringbone tweed vest (admittedly a tad theatrical), and a complementary tie. I'll probably be one of the few not in sweats or athletic clothing, as usual. This will be my first time kilted in the wild proper.

I'll give y'all an after-action report around 10:15 when I get home. Figured I should chronicle this here, in case enough of the ladies swoon to make news.

Of course I was wearing a shirt... need something to bind the tie around.

It went without issue, as is par for the course. One person did comment that I looked quite dapper. Unfortunately, I can't get any pictures at the moment, as I'm headed to sleep... Looks like I'll just have to do this again!
