had my eye on it ......
after the thread last week regarding ebay and purchasing a kilt, i did a little follow up and decided to contact Stillwater. i read a lot of good comments regarding Stillwater here on the board. don't think i ran across one negative note.
so i decided to order a Black Watch, had the mrs. all prepped for it. spent a couple extra days thinking about it and dog-gone-it, had to blow my kilt wad on two new ceiling lamp fixtures and a new bathroom mirror that the mrs. wanted.
drats ...... how soon is christmas? graham, are you positive there isn't a Santa?

sorry for your loss
i'm sorry and saddend for your loss. But you spent too much time thinking about it insted of doing it.But at least you did something nice for your wife and I'm sure she will remember your gallant sacrifice when some future occasion arrises and she can do something for you. When you do get your kilt as I know you will (note: positive thinking)tell us about it.What kilts do you currently have now?

That whole scenario sounds pretty familiar to me. I've been there many times. In my case it's usually the car, the dentist, an appliance, taxes, or some other incidental that comes along just in time to flatten your bank account. Dave's got the right approach - buy now, think later! (but not too hard. )

Never mind Ambrose, you're young, there is yet time to ignor light fixtures and step into the light of a new kilt.
gotta keep the missus happy, that's more important!
the bad news is that santa is a myth, but that doesn't mean that nice things may not come your way.

Ah, yes, but there are still birthdays. My wife asked me if I wanted another kilt for my birthday. Do bears crap in the woods?
Get ready for another order Bear. How's your supply of Buchanan tartan?

Santa...
There most certainly is a "Santa"...St. Nicholas of Myra, the man who inspired the myth of Santa...
Cheers! ![Cheers!](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_beer.gif)
