Just my two year old son in his first kilt
My wife is a member of a local Celtic band. This weekend I spiffed up our kids and we hit the town to review the performance. My two year old son wore his new kilt with pride!

It's a bit long for him, but he's quickly growing into it... especially the midsection (following in my footsteps). My favorite daughter presented my wife with flowers after the performance. They couldn't have made me more proud.

Aww! Good job! Wish I could convince mine to get into one.

That's great! I can't wait to get my son into one. Waiting till he learns to walk.

He was NOT keen the first time I showed him. After I talked him into it he loved it.

My sons were mildly mortified when I first mentioned wearing a kilt. After just a few weeks one is wanting to wear one to school.
Glad your son is on board.

He looks great. Yes he will quickly outgrow the kilt, but you should encourage him nonetheless.

my 12 year old has threatened to wear his to school. I'm afraid the 7th graders might be a little cruel if he did though. But he enjoys wearing the kilt!

Awesome! I wonder how school administrators would react.
