    Alterations Question

I have been asked to let down the hem of a little highland dancer's kilt. I know what it entails, but I don't know what I should charge for a job like this. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

What is your hourly labor rate?

Plan for 2.5 to 3 hours to un-pick the old hem, press out the lower, reversed creases, baste and re-press.

    I wear the kilt because:

Many thanks. This gives me a pretty good figure to work with.

And you also need to unstitch the facings and restitch them once you've re-done the hem.
