Rhode Island Games in June - not too far from Boston at the Fairgrounds in Richmond R.I. June 10 A nice one day games

Northampton Mass in late July - a bit of a drive for her but not bad - always hot. It's called the Glasgowlands Highland Games - July 15

Quechee, Vermont in August - she'd have to make a weekend of it. August 26

The BIG one is New Hampshire Highland Games - a destination three day event at Loon Mountain in Lincoln NH. Really need to do two of the three days (Fri/Sat preferably) to get the full effect. Third weekend in September every year. This is one of the top 4 or 5 games in the country right up there with Grandfather Mountain, Stone Mountain, Estes Colorado etc. Sept. 15, 16, 17 this year

Scotland Connecticut in Oct (Columbus Day weekend) on a Sunday. This is not too far for her either. This is a really nice one day games in a pretty state park. Oct. 8

Let me know if you would like any more info, especially on New Hampshire.

Having seen your posts of her competing, I hope she will make some of the games and do well. Please encourage her to post photos and give remarks on the events. The best of luck to her.

Thanks I will tell her. She doesn't have a car but I know she really wants to get back to the games, as well as the strongman competitions.

If she has not already found it she should take a look at the Haven at 3 Perkins St in Jamaica Plain. I go there sometimes. My daughter and I have been there many times. Great place.
