The Offical Unveiling.
Even though I got the Kilt on Friday and wore it from most of the day, I consider today was the day for the Official Unveiling of my Clan Farquharson Tartan Kilt. What better place than in Church serving the Lord. I ushered this morning's Sunday service, then the Afternoon and Evening Christmas Festival. During Intermission at tonight's Performance I asked Pastor Reese, who is now retired, but still very active in Benton Street Baptist, if he wanted to have his photo taken with me.

I put the Kilt on this morning about 09hr00, had it on all day, and even getting home about 11 hours later, didn't notice it getting heavy at all. The Prince Charlie I put on about 12hr30 and really didn't notice the weight of it getting home. What got to me was my feet, they are really aching from standing on them all day. Think it is time for a new pair of shoes.
I didn't get any negative comments at all, most of the looks were nods of approval, some asked me what I was wearing it for, a couple even asked me the Question as to what I had on underneath, to which I replied "That was Between Me and Jesus"...
Friday will be the next time I wear it for my Seniors. I have requests I wear it again next Sunday to Church.
