Cousin Jack alert: Cornish sporrans reduced price

For my fellow Cousin Jacks and Jennies, some-one on Ebay is selling the hand-tooled Cornish sporrans (with Celtic knotwork and the 15 Bezants) for considerably less than they were originally sold for.

They say they have a dozen of the sporrans left.

The photo from the current Ebay auction:

One of these sporrans from several years ago:

I have a deep interest in things Cornish due to my Grandmother's family (miners- what a surprise) coming to West Virginia from the village of Tywardreath on the Cornish south coast.

Here's a thread I started some years ago about Cornish kilts and accessories, where you can see these sporrans being worn. (Sorry all my Photobucket photos are gone)

I really don't like the yellow "Cornish tartan" or, really, any of the "Cornish" tartans I've seen.

I designed my own, where I put in the St Piran flag and the gold Bezants on a soft blue background:

(I suppose I should have put 16 Bezants instead of 9. You can't do 15 with tartan.)
