Alterations in Ga, Sc, Nc or Va?
I'm a noob here so please bare with me...
I've purchased a used kilt from ministry of tartan on a whim...a rather rare tartan almost in my size...basically an inch small. Btw the way it's a Murray of Mansfield tartan, looks like the Murray of Atholl ancient but the center red line is not guarded. Also the red lines are about 2x a wide as normal. Looks great when pleated to the stripe.
So here's my dilemma...I can get the inner apron on fine, 2nd hole in and comfortable. The outer apron I can not come close to securing, it's about 2" off. I dont understand it.
I think it has enough fabric in the first pleat under the apron to alter. So I'd like to fine a decent person/place in Ga, Sc, Nc, or Va...(I travel a lot) to take a look at it and hopefully alter it to fit.
Thanks

We are an international website and I find it interesting to read of differing thoughts from other parts of the world, even if I might not always agree with them! However, I do find some abbreviations a tad tricky to relate to, so, Ga? Sc? Nc? Va? I assume assorted State abbreviations?

Yes, they are state abbreviations. They are Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Thanks Troy. I have to admit that try as I might, I did not think of any of those States!

Not to worry. This comes up from time to time, and reminds us that while the world is a much smaller place than it used to be, context can still be local. Abbreviations and
acronyms are welcome here, if one chooses; it is, though, helpful when the first mention of such in a post is spelled out. Thereafter clarity might well follow.

Aye, I'm out and about. I did have a few wee troubles for the first 4 months of so of the year, but I'm feeling myself again.
We'd welcome the opportunity to reave at some unfortunate local drinking establishment if you are in the area. As Tripleblessed mentioned, the Perimeter (Dunwoody or Sandy Springs) is fairly central. Lately Wareyin and I have enjoyed the Schoolhouse Brewing taproom but you have to bring your own victuals.
