Back after a long abscence
Hello again.
I've been abscent from the forum since the start of covid, which happened to coincide with my wife of 20 years leaving me. Then I got bacterial pneumonia from wearing the mask which was compulsory in Spain. It took me three years to defeat it but during that time, I would be out of breath after walking just a few yards which made walking my 4 dogs extremely difficult. With inactivity, the weight piled on and the kilts no longer fitted and I was pre diabetic. I discovered the carnivore diet and I've lost 30 Kg in three months, down to 120 from 150. I'm now within a couple of inches of being kilted again.

Welcome back. Sounds like you've had a hard time. Glad to hear your health is returning to something like normal. Hope you're soon fit and kilted again!

Thank you. I've known better times. I never actually thought I'd be able to breath again properly. It was very demoralising. I would hope to be kilted again, some time next month. I don't think I'll be competing in the Olympics any time soon though!
